The customer

The customer is a leading European manufacturing company specializing in roof windows, skylights, sun tunnels, and related products. The company previously maintained over 10 marketing website versions in different languages across various countries. Although all of these websites were based on Sitecore, they were quite different, leading to inconsistencies in the company’s work.

The company aimed to unify and modernize its marketing websites to align with the latest Sitecore best practices. The customer sought assistance with managing its extensive scope of work. Brimit realized several key improvements to address the company’s evolving needs.

Optimizing digital experience through a headless Sitecore-based architecture

Since the customer needed a modern solution, we decided to move to a headless approach, which involves decoupling content delivery from back-end systems and enabling more flexibility in design and development. This architecture type allows for seamless integrations with modern front-end frameworks, empowering the customer to adapt to market trends and deliver personalized customer experiences rapidly.

The initial website development began on Sitecore 9 and was later upgraded to Sitecore 10.2 to take advantage of its advanced features and improved capabilities. Modern Sitecore components were introduced, making the website faster, more intuitive, and highly personalized.

As part of the technology stack, the customer selected Vue.js for server-side rendering (SSR), ensuring faster page load times and an improved user experience. To seamlessly integrate Vue.js with Sitecore, Brimit’s team developed a custom solution that optimized the interaction between the two platforms, enabling smooth functionality and enhanced performance.

Empowering global reach through multilingual website launches

The customer wanted a multilingual website to expand market reach, improve the user experience for diverse audiences, and improve SEO and discoverability. This effort is essential to address the needs of an increasingly global customer base, ensuring accessibility and engagement across key markets.

Brimit collaborated closely with the customer’s team to launch over 10 language-specific website versions. Each one was prepared in stages, populated with localized content, and then launched for the customer’s multilingual audience. The updated platform also allowed the flexibility to add more language versions as needed.

Optimizing content structure for enhanced website efficiency

To improve digital efficiency, ensure scalability, and deliver a seamless experience for users while reducing operational overhead for the organization, we needed to review and reorganize the website’s content structure.

We optimized the structure, eliminating duplicate elements to reduce the overall volume of content. This streamlined approach not only contributed to faster load times but also simplified content management for the customer’s team. As a result, the marketing team was freed up to focus on more strategic efforts.

Enhancing user engagement through content personalization and interactive features

To meet the growing demand for tailored digital experiences, the new website needed to introduce innovative features that would enhance user engagement and enable highly personalized interactions. This transformation directly addressed the need to build stronger connections with customers.

We equipped the new website with features that boost user engagement and personalize the experience for each visitor. For example, we added an online configuration tool that allows visitors to estimate project scope and expenses. Additionally, we enabled a feature that gives visitors the ability to upload and store photos of their rooms or homes, providing customer service specialists with valuable context to help clients choose the right products. We also designed the website to streamline tasks for the customer’s team—for example, by introducing easily customizable forms.

The multilingual marketing website makes it easier to track user journeys and deliver personalized content, resulting in a more engaging and productive experience for visitors.
