Sitecore Experience Editor

Sitecore Experience Editor is a tool that allows content authors and marketers to create and update pages of a Sitecore website. It is a What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) editor with a comprehensive toolset for editing content including text, images, graphics, links, etc.

Experience Editor allows you to change only the items that are visible on a page, whereas with Content Editor, you can edit both visual content and internal properties. Experience Editor comes in handy when you want to see what a page looks like to a website user and make changes right in that view. At the same time, it is the simplest of the editing tools that Sitecore provides.
